Being Discerning

The Bible talks about being discerning, and there is even an entire group of people dedicated to doing so, the Bereans. We are told to be like them, in testing the teachings and researching them to see if what people are saying and teaching is true and right. So much that passes as Christianity and preaching today, has reminded me to be just as diligent and particular about what I am reading and listening to. Some would say I am being too "picky", and I've even been told by some, " Well, that group is so popular, who am I to criticize? " I can tell you who. I am someone who wants to get to the truth of the matter, and not listen to or watch something that is not correct.
