I hope you enjoy
An odd combination of Reformed theology posts, Bob Dylan out takes, gluten-free recipes, thoughts of mine, and anything else I find interesting on the interwebs. I hope you enjoy.

Billy Graham Turns 95
Billy Graham will be 95 years old in a few days. Most everyone alive today has heard the name. Some will say "Isn't he that preacher?" and some will say "I remember seeing him in the 60's or 70's or 80's" and some will say "I don't care."I have never met Mr.
Graham personally, but from everything I have heard and read about him and his organization, I have never heard a hint of scandal or negativity from anyone. That is probably because he has lived his life to such a standard, no one can even make things up about him. No one that I have heard has ever even hinted of a marriage infidelity. That is probably because he has made a pact not to even be alone with another woman besides his wife.
I personally have the utmost respect for someone such as Billy Graham, who has devoted his life to serving others, and preaching the salvation message clearly and without apology. So, Happy 95th Birthday, Billy Graham, and God bless you.

Why I Go to Church
People sometimes ask me why I go to church. They might think I am religious, or moral, or even holy. Nothing could be farther from the truth. I go church because I recognize my sinfulness and need for God in my life and want to learn more about Him. I recognize that it's the sick that need a hospital , not the healthy. I see a good church as a hospital where people go to get well and see the Great Physician. He is the only One that can offer living water and the healing that we all so desperately need. We are all sinners in need of God's grace.
Church should not be a social club, fire insurance, or make God love you more.
I don't have any special insight, or consider myself any more holy or intelligent than anyone else. I hope that I can inspire others to seek God, This has been my goal for a long time. I hope to use all of my resources to accomplish God's will for my life, that would include being a good example to others. I would encourage you to attend church to meet the Living God and learn more about Him.
